Mr. Arthur Freeze to Join Canasil's Board of Directors
Vancouver, March 26, 2007 - Canasil Resources Inc. (Canasil, TSX-V: CLZ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Arthur Freeze, P.Geo., as a Director. Mr. Freeze has acted as an Advisor to Canasil’s Board of Directors since March 2006. He is a recognized figure for his contributions to the mineral exploration industry, and in particular for his knowledge and experience related to mineral deposits as well as exploration and mine development projects in Mexico and British Columbia, Canada, regions which form the focus of Canasil’s exploration and development programs.
Mr. Freeze has over 38 years of experience as an exploration and production geologist. He has extensive experience in exploration, mineral deposit and mine development programs and in evaluating projects for both senior and junior resource companies. He has held management positions with major and junior mining companies including: Cominco Ltd. (now Teck Cominco), Pasminco Exploration, Echo Bay Mines and Pan American Silver Corporation. He has extensive international experience in North, Central and South America, and in the former Soviet Republics. He is currently President of Stillwater Enterprises Limited and over the past four and half years has acted as the principal Consulting Geologist for Wheaton River Minerals Ltd. and Goldcorp Inc., now one of the world’s largest gold and silver producers. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Mr. Freeze will bring to Canasil’s Board of Directors his wealth of experience and insights gained from involvement in mineral exploration and development projects from the exploration stage through to resource definition and production. He also has wide corporate experience with the operation, management and development of large and small public resource companies, which will also be a significant asset.
